We are the number one manufacturer of hybrid backhaul radios with FSO technology and number one provider of optical outdoor wireless Ethernet links worldwide. We are headquartered in San Diego, California.

 

LightPointe is searching for a part-time to full-time sales person interested in working with our VP of Sales on sales and channel development activities. This position could be filled by a very bright and motivated student completing their technical EE or other appropriate degree.  Or this position could be filled by an entry level/mid level sales professional from the wireless industry. San Diego-based applicants are preferred, however, other locations will be considered within the USA.

 

The ideal candidate:

-Enthusiasm for outdoor wireless technology and eagerness to quickly learn about associated RF and optical products, and the technical sales process associated with data bridges for small business enterprises, wireless distributors, and resellers.

 

-Basic knowledge of radio frequency wireless technology and/or optical transmission (e.g., wireless LAN, networking technologies, backhaul, outdoor wireless).

 
-Ability to professionally contact prospective customers/users of point-to-point wireless systems in one or more geographic markets via phone and/or email and determine whether they are interested in carrying or buying LightPointe products (distributors, dealers, end users).
 
-Ability to learn how to assess a prospective customer’s needs and identify the best wireless bridging solution for their optimum satisfaction.
 
-Speak fluent English (and preferably one other language such as Spanish or Portuguese).
